REQUEST FROM A PARENT
One of our parents lost R400 during the Mr and Ms Riebie evening, presumably in one of
the bathrooms. If you have picked it up, we appeal to your honesty to please hand the
money in at the office. Thank you for your co-operation in this regard.
The youth is not bottles that you can fill ;
they are candles that must be lit.

CULTURAL NEWS
CHRISTIAN ACTION
Psalm 37:4 "Seek your happiness in the Lord, and He will give you your heart’s desire."
God believes in us. He enjoys us, is proud of us and only expects the best from us. If we fail, we are forgiven and get another chance to make it right. This is how God treats us and this is how we should treat each other. Do not think bad thoughts, but only expect the best of each other.
PARENTS WHO PRAY
Parents are welcome to pray for our school and community in Bet-El (behind the stage in the hall) from 07:30 – 08:00 on Thursday mornings. We appeal to you that, if you feel like it in your heart, to come and support us ! We need your prayers urgently ! We remind you of the wooden container in the entrance hall, where you can place prayer requests. All requests will be treated confidentially.
JUNIOR CHOIR
Teacher Dinki is very excited about our new songs on after practice on Monday. The songs were learnt in a jiffy. If we concentrate and listen carefully, it can only go well with our choir.
Our next performance is Wednesday, 8 September at L/s Kruinsig. Keep the afternoon open. We need your support. Thank you for the R30 entry fees that have already been paid. Unfortunately there are still a lot outstanding. Please pay (if possible) to the class teacher, on or before 6 September.

Senior choir, good luck with the preparation for our Eisteddfod performance. Intense practice is still lying in waiting. We will be performing at L/s Kruinsig on 8 September. Please do not stay away from choir practice unnecessarily. You miss a lot of detail during practice.

AFTER-CARE PARENTS
After-care parents must please note that our after-care is very dependent on the monthly fees for the functioning, as well as quality of service and salaries of staff.
As the after-care is a privilege, we cannot afford monies in arrears.
A debt collector has been appointed a while ago and he contacts all our parents who are in arrears.
We appeal to you to please contact our financial officer of the after-care, Ms Michelle Br?mer, urgently, if you are in arrears. Should you omit to do so, your child unfortunately may be expelled.
The new cell phone policy will also apply at the after-care.
